i seriously think ntu chingay is screwed up.

after wasting 5 hrs last week, we were told we were only required to come for training next wednesday (which was yesterday).

and so we went yesterday. after dinner and even before we started moving, the choreographer was like "you mean the training officers didn't tell you guys that float dancers aren't required to come today?"

apparently there was some communication breakdown between the choreographers and the training officers.

like what the hell?? i travelled all the way to school just to know that i came for nothing. hello, it's not anywhere else but the so-very-far BOON LAY! especially after me and cindy were complaining how much we spent on transport this month. i don't even think the free dinner was worth as much as my transportation fees and what about my time? opportunity costs are involved as well!!

they weren't even apologetic.

i felt a little relieved to know that float dancers aren't required to turn up today as well. at least they informed us one day earlier. so i went home last night, feeling the heartache as i tapped my ezlink card on the bus and at the train station.

but who knows, at like 9+pm when i reached home and settled down comfortably, a trainer called me up and asked if i mind being transferred over to the fan dance. actually i was rather glad because as i complained earlier, i really dread the duet. God must have answered my prayer and finally giving me a chance now to escape from it. phew. so i agreed to the arrangement promptly.

however, he added on further that "so you are expected to turn up for training tomorrow (which is today)"

OMG! but i just came home!! why didn't he call me earlier or something so i would have just stayed in hall!! i'm going to feel another wave of heartache when i tap my ezlink card again later.

my fellow float dancer called the trainer up and asked what exactly was going on, and the trainer said it was because they were lacking of fan dancers to do the formations and so they wanted to take away one couple from the float to help out.

my friend was kinda pissed because they just took me away like that and she asked on what basis did they choose the couple.

they said they didn't know.

she told me i shouldn't have agreed and if they called her instead she wouldn't have coz probably she felt that such arrangement wouldn't do any justice to the time she wasted as a float dancer.

and thats on top of the fact that there's SO MUCH to catch up if i join the fan dancers now.. they're almost done with the choreography.

suddenly i feel like i'm the most unlucky person in this event. i wasted so much time and money, and now they're playing such a bad joke on me.

i just hope that there will not be anymore changes for me in chingay. if i go later and they say they have found enough people for fan dance and want to transfer me back to the float, i'll seriously scream and pull their hair.

oh, and make them pay for my transportation fees too.
